“Like kissing the sea on the lips.” – Léon-Paul Fargue
We don’t quote French poets lightly, but we’ve never heard a better description for eating oysters… and around here, we’ve got some love for the sea. So pucker up- We’re shucking $1 OYSTERS MONDAY-FRIDAY 4:30 TO 6:30 AT THE BAR. Eat them pure or with a dab of Chef Sam’s cucumber mignonette, washed down with glass of bubbly or chilled Albarino- There just ain’t no better way to start a meal. …We’re pretty sure a French poet said that too. If you love all things oysters, read on… READ MORE
Easter is fast approaching and we’re now taking reservations from 11:30-7. We’ll be serving up our menu with brunch additions and other Easter favorites. We’d love to be a part of your family tradition.
Spring has nearly sprung (just ignore all that white stuff out there) and it’s never too early to plan your private parties. Bridal and baby showers, birthdays, rehearsal dinners, graduations, weddings… we’ve done them all. This beautiful pic is from a bridal shower we hosted this past weekend.
Here are a couple more from a wedding held at Sandy Beach last summer…
Just give us a call or check out the Private Party page and we’ll take care of all the rest.
Looking for somewhere fun and festive to ring in the New Year? Gather up some friends- We’re still taking reservations for New Year’s Eve dinner. Best of all? We’re close enough to have you back home and in your jammies in time to watch the ball drop. Of course, we’ll have some bubbly flowing, noisemakers and funny hats for those who want to party like rock stars into the wee hours… wee meaning midnight here.
If you’re still in the game on New Year’s Day, we’ll be open at 11:30 and are amping it up with dollar oysters all day, build your own bloodies, pomosas, and a few brunch menu additions to go along with our Hangover Cure. The Bowls will be on… and yes, PJ’s are totally acceptable attire.
Looking for something fun to do this Friday night? We’ll be at The Big Deal in support of all the invaluable work Wellspring does in our community. Put on your fancy duds, kick up your heels, wine and dine, and try your lucky hand. You can purchase your tickets at www.wellspringhull.org.
Let’s pack the house for a good cause! Mark your calendars and gather up some friends… Join us for dinner on Monday, October 20th and we will donate 25% of our sales to Interfaith Social Services, an incredible organization that focuses on South Shore families and individuals in need. To find out more about them and their Feed the Hungry Annual Gala in December, please go to their website at www.interfaithsocialservices.org. Just think- whether you’re wining and dining, or just grabbing a beer and watching the game, a quarter of your tab will go to this worthy local charity! Easy, right? Come!!!
Have you considered having your next party at the restaurant? We’ve hosted every kind of get together imaginable, including birthday parties, showers, fundraisers and wedding receptions. Here are a couple of shots from a reception we hosted recently following a wedding at Sandy Beach. If you’re not familiar with Sandy, it’s located on Atlantic Avenue in Cohasset, just a hop, skip, and a jump away from us… and it’s an ideal beach setting for a wedding,
Very tasteful and beachy we’d say. And look at these cuties…
We have Freckled Mermaid Photography to thank for sharing these beautiful shots. To find out more about hosting parties at The Corner Stop, just click the Private Parties link on our website.
