St. Patty’s…

  … because everyone’s a little Irish on St. Patty’s day, and it is the South Shore after all. Our Sous Chef Luke Sullivan will be making his signature Corned Beef and (Mini?) Cabbage… Alright, so they’re brussel sprouts.. but we promise not to fancy them up too much. So stop by and saddle up to the bar… We’ve got all the fun of St. Patty’s, without the green beer.

  When better to celebrate the many loves of your life? We open for dinner on Valentine’s at 5:00 and still have a few reservations remaining. The bar counter is always open for walk-ins, so stop by with your sweetie for some oysters & bubbly to kick off the night…

Killin’ It Super Bowl Sunday

  We’ve got everything you need to rock your Super Bowl party and are still taking catering orders for pick up by Sunday at 5:00. Be a hero and bring our Angry + Sweet wings along- featured on Phantom Gourmet and a fan favorite since we opened. We’ll have them wrapped up and ready to pop in the oven for you. Tack on some Clam Chowder or Roasted Tomato Soup, Caesar, Hippy Dippy salad, flatbreads… Just give us a call at 781-875-3065, and we’ll do all the hard work for you. Just a heads up- we’ll be open this Sunday from 11:30 to 5:00 for all those needing a head start on the day’s festivities, but will be shutting it down for the big game. Go Pats!!!

  Have a happy & healthy 2017 from all your friends at The Corner Stop. If you’re still in the game on New Year’s Day, we’ll be open at noon and are amping it up with dollar oysters all day, housemade bloodies, pomosas, chili and clam chowder to go along with our Cure. The games will be on… and yes, PJ’s are totally acceptable attire.

  Looking for somewhere festive to ring in the New Year? Gather up some friends- We’re still taking reservations for New Year’s Eve dinner. Best of all? We’re close enough to have you back home and in your jammies in time to watch the ball drop. Of course, we’ll have plenty of bubbly flowing, noisemakers and funny hats for those who want to party like rock stars into the wee hours… wee meaning midnight around here.

  Happy holidays from our family to yours. We just wanted to take a minute to express our heartfelt gratitude for your support and patronage. When we opened our restaurant three years ago, we set out to create a place where the community can come together… where three generations gather… a place that feels like home. We’re humbled every day as we see your smiling faces come through our doors and make that dream a reality. Our Second Annual Breast Cancer Fundraiser Kicks off October 1st!

IMG_6306   Starting October 1st, we’ll be donating 10% of sales for the entire month of October to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation… So gather up some friends and find any excuse to come in. It’s time to get your pink on!  We’ll also be selling raffle tickets with some cool prizes for a direct donation of $20.  Last year, with your support and enthusiasm, we were able to raise nearly $23,000… and we know we can outdo ourselves! In October of 2014, nearly a year after opening The Corner Stop with my husband Ron, I was stunned to find myself diagnosed with breast cancer after a routine mammogram. DSC_3069a It’s been a journey, but after three surgeries, chemo and radiation, I’ve completed my treatment and am feeling strong and ready to make a difference. 1 in 8 women Is diagnosed with breast cancer in her lifetime…. our mothers, daughters, wives, and friends…. 1 in 8, and men are not immune.  As with all cancers, early detection is everything. IMG_5090   As I often say, I was the poster child for someone you’d never suspect of getting breast cancer- I don’t smoke, rarely drink, exercise for hours a day, eat well, breast fed both my children, and have cancer nowhere in my family, much less breast cancer… and yet it came knocking. Cancer by its very definition is arbitrary and it’s important to remain vigilant. Fortunately, there is a highly effective screening for breast cancer- a mammogram- but you have to show up. As my radiologist said, I was a textbook case for why they recommend annual mammograms. It was caught early, and I am where I am today because I did just that- I showed up. I’m hoping to use the restaurant and its connection to our local community as a platform for fundraising and awareness. We were the beneficiaries of extraordinary kindness and grace from friends, family, and our community, and we’re ready to pay it forward.
