Cinco de Mayo falls on a Friday this year and we are ALL in. We’ll be serving up killer craft margaritas made from scratch… blood orange, blackberry and traditional… or some Liquid Sunshine. Only freshly squeezed lemons and limes go into our house made mixes (thank you, barkeeps!). You’ll not only taste the difference… but feel the difference the the next day. Chef Sam will be slinging Shrimp Ceviche, Mexican Street Corn, Bar Nachos, and Tuna Poke Tacos to help you soak up all that tequila. So come in and fiesta like there’s no mañana…

 

Mother’s Day is May 14th… What’s your family’s happy place? We’re now taking reservations for lunch with brunch menu additions from 10:30-3:00, and dinner 5-8. Trust us… She does not want to be cooking and cleaning on that day! We’ll help you treat her right and keep the kids happy.

 

Happy Earth Day! Thought we’d share just a few ways we love our Mother at The Corner Stop…

* Our fryer oil is collected and processed into biodiesel fuel.

* We recycle everything we possibly can- bottles, cans, plastic, cardboard… You’d be surprised how many restaurants choose not to.

* We collect all our kitchen scraps and coffee grinds and give them to our good friends at Holly Hill Farm to add to their luscious compost pile.

* Our takeout supplies are fully biodegradable or made from recycled materials.

* We support and source produce from local sustainable farms, like Holly Hill and Norwell Farms.

Sure, there are easier ways of doing things, but it’s important to us to have our business reflect our values.

We are partnering with Fortua to kick off a thought leader dinner series.  Our first dinner is on May 4th and will be on the topic of Lyme Disease.  Only 32 seats are available and tickets must be purchased through this link.

It’s going to be an engaging evening with two Lyme disease experts: Elena Monarch, Ph.D. and Kenneth Bock, M.D. You’ll enjoy dinner, listen to a talk by our two thought leaders, and you’ll have the opportunity to ask them questions throughout the evening.

 These dinners are designed to be small, intimate, and conversational. Tickets are on a first-come-first-serve basis, and are sold exclusively through the Fortua page, so purchase your tickets  and invite your friends to join you. It’s going to be a great evening!

The evening will include a delicious dinner and a presentation by two Lyme disease experts: Elena Monarch, Ph.D. and Kenneth Bock, M.D. You’ll enjoy a three-course meal; beer, wine & non-alcoholic drinks; an interesting and informative talk; and the opportunity to ask Dr. Monarch and Dr. Bock questions throughout the evening.

Schedule of Activities:

6:30pm:  Attendees enjoy appetizers, drinks, and time for a meet & greet with Dr. Monarch and Dr. Bock

7:00pm:  Attendees take their seats, and Dr. Monarch & Dr. Bock deliver a 20 min talk, followed by an opportunity for questions and discussion

7:30pm:  Dr. Monarch and Dr. Bock join everyone for dinner and conversation

8:15pm:  Dessert & coffee are served, with additional time for Q&A and discussion with Dr. Monarch and Dr. Bock

 

Easter is fast approaching and we’re now taking reservations from 10:30-7:30. We’ll be serving up our menu with brunch additions and other Easter favorites. We’d love to be a part of your family tradition.

 

… because everyone’s a little Irish on St. Patty’s day, and it is the South Shore after all. Our Sous Chef Luke Sullivan will be making his signature Corned Beef and (Mini?) Cabbage… Alright, so they’re brussel sprouts.. but we promise not to fancy them up too much. So stop by and saddle up to the bar… We’ve got all the fun of St. Patty’s, without the green beer.

 

When better to celebrate the many loves of your life? We open for dinner on Valentine’s at 5:00 and still have a few reservations remaining. The bar counter is always open for walk-ins, so stop by with your sweetie for some oysters & bubbly to kick off the night…
